Shipping policy

When choosing “local pick up” delivery service & returning item/s:

You acknowledge you have the option to inspect and try the garment or bag on prior to renting. Should you choose not to inspect and/or try the garment or bag prior to pick up, you accept the item is in a reasonable state for hire at +One’s discretion. Due to the nature of our business, hired items may show signs of general wear and tear. While we strive to maintain them in excellent condition, some imperfections may be present.

Should your hire be delayed due to a previous customer failing to return on time, you will receive a credit note (with no expiry) to the amount of your hire cost.

Local customers agree to return the item/s to Shop 4/107 King William Rd, Unley SA 5061 by 9pm Sunday following the event or as agreed with +One Dress Hire for alternative days.

You understand if your hire is not returned by 9pm Sunday (unless arranged prior with +One Staff) you will incur a late fee of $30 per day until it is returned. In any event that you cannot return your hire, you must notify us immediately via email or arrange to have someone return the outfit on your behalf.

The hire (garment or bag) must be returned in the dress bag provided with coat hanger or any original packaging to ensure the garment or bag is protected. All slips (if applicable to your garment), makeup bags & dusts bags MUST be included. Failure to include all pieces of the hire will result in a $30 fee.

Any delicate items hired will be advised via staff if the item/s are required to be returned in person only.

If you fail to return your hire on time and it impacts another customer’s booking, you will be charged an additional hire fee (the full value of the initial hire cost).

Failure to return the hire in accordance with the terms and conditions in this agreement will incur a late fee of $30 per day its late (unless prearranged with a staff member) Special consideration is granted at the discretion +One staff.

You acknowledge that collection and return dates for garments are determined by +One and may be subject to change.

 

When choosing “postage” delivery service & returning item/s:

You acknowledge the item/s will be posted to you on Monday OR Tuesday prior to your selected delivery date via Express Australia Post and the tracking number will be provided to you upon lodgement.

You understand that in the event the parcel is delayed by Australia Post, +One Dress Hire is NOT liable. Any delay that is outside of our control where your hire doesn’t arrive in time for your event - you are not eligible for a refund. On the basis of Australia Post delays, credit notes are given at the discretion of +One Dress Hire staff.

Should your hire be delayed due to a previous customer failing to return on time, you will receive a credit note (with no expiry) to the amount of your hire cost. Postage costs are non-refundable but will be transferred to your next hire in the event that this occurs.

Orders that have been delayed/unshipped due to failure to comply with +One booking processes are not entitled to any refunds or credit notes. Ie. Placing an order within 4 business days of your event.

It is the responsibility of you, the customer to ensure postage timeframes are checked on the Australia Post website prior to ordering. We suggest you are placing your order at least 4 days in advance to ensure we have the adequate time to ship your outfit(s).

It is recommended that the parcel is sent to an address where someone will be there to accept it. If nobody is home the parcel could be taken to a post office causing further delay in which +One Dress Hire is not responsible.

All interstate and posted hires must be posted back by 10 AM on the Monday following your event. Or the first business day post event if prearranged with +One Staff.

Garments (or bags) must be placed in a yellow Express Post box or taken directly to an Australia Post office.

If your garment is not posted on time or is placed in the wrong post box, a $39 late fee as described in this aggreement will be automatically charged per day it has not been lodged unless you can provide proof of timely postage.

We strongly recommend you return your parcel over the counter at your nearest post office to receive a lodgement receipt.

The hire (garment or bag) is to be returned in the returns parcel provided and in its original packaging to ensure the garment or bag is protected. All slips (if applicable to your garment), makeup bags & dusts bags MUST be included. Failure to include all pieces of the hire will result in a $30 fee and the cost of the additional return will be at your expense. If you lose your pre-paid return satchel, the cost of the return is at your expense and you must email the +One team a copy of the new tracking details at hello@plusonedresshire.com.au

When choosing "same day" courier deliver service: 

You acknowledge it is only available to Adelaide customers within a 20km radius of our store in UNLEY, SA. You must be home or at the location you have selected for delivery. Our courier does not have the authority to leave any deliveries. You must be home or at the nominated delivery address to accept the delivery. If you are not at home or at the location you have selected for delivery your order will be returned to us and you will not be refunded for the cost of hire or delivery. You will be required to return the hire item/s at your own cost by the specified return date to our Style Room at Shop 4/107 King William Rd, Unley SA 5061. If unable to return / drop-off, please email us to arrange a Courier - this will be at your cost.

 

When choosing 'ex-hire' items or accessories for purchase:

One way standard shipping charges apply on all +One ex-hire items and accessories that are for sale to purchase. Should you purchase items with your hire - we will to the best of our ability include it within the same shipment. 

Ex-hire items are final sale. All items that are no longer in our 'hire' collection and have been transferred to our 'for sale' collection are not valid for a return for exchange or refund. The sale is final. As items are ex-hire garments, general wear is to be expected.

 

 

You agree you are responsible for any loss, destructions and damage of the garment upon time of collection until the time of return. The garment is only deemed returned once +One Dress Hire receive the item in accordance with our Terms and Conditions that you agree to at the time of payment.

You agree that you are liable for any damages to the garment, including, but not limited to; ripping, soiling, burns, colour distortion and you will be liable to pay the full Recommended Retail Price of the garment or the cost of repairing the damages up to +One's reasonable discretion. You agree you will be charged for any loss of income due to damages where future Hires are affected. If a perfect fix cannot be made but the Item is received in reasonable condition to continue to Hire you will be asked to pay a portion of the Recommended Retail Price as compensation for damage. You agree that, for insurance purposes, +One Dress Hire will keep a copy of your Drivers Licence and/or credit card details on file for the duration of the Hire period. +One Dress Hire reserves the right to take all steps necessary to collect amounts due from you, including but not limited to; legal action and/or using third party collection agencies. You are liable for the cost of the garment + any costs incurred by +One Dress Hire to recover money from you should the garment or bag not be returned in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
